It's been exactly one year since our Palm Springs Wedding last October and after many requests, we've decided to finally share some photos and details with all of you. We loved the idea of getting married in Palm Springs since we both love the natural beauty of the desert and the California sunshine, plus it was the perfect middle-ground for our families & friends in Arizona and California. So if you've ever wondered what graphic designers/paper store owners (like ourselves) design for their wedding day, we hope you keep on reading!
Mark created our dream invitation suite complete with an illustration of our wedding venue on the back of each invitation and our astrological constellations sprinkled above the horizon line, personalized portraits, and a matching letterpress coaster that our guests could enjoy as a keepsake. We partnered with Lauren Saylor of A Fabulous Fete on envelope calligraphy and used claret-colored envelopes as a nod to our moody, burgundy color palette.
Our wedding venue was called The O'Donnell House. We booked it because of it's gorgeous vantage point above the city and the timeless, Spanish beauty of the historic property. The colors of the bougainvillea surrounding the entire residence inspired the rest of the decor details including the table settings, florals, and attire. Our planners, Hello Gem Events, really brought our moody yet romantic vision to life, they were an absolute dream to partner with in every way.
